Biden wants to pump billions into the IRS to milk more money from the taxpayers. I imagine most of us are appalled at the idea. If you could write a Constitutional Amendment to fix this problem, what would it be. I'm not looking for debate as much as I am looking for ideas. I don't expect your ideas to be identical to mine. After I give mine, I may agree with yours and change mine. Here is my suggestion.

1. Term limits should be done at the same time for obvious reasons, so I thought I would get it out of the way

2. The income tax would be abolished and replaced with a 10% national sales tax and a balanced budget requirement. The IRS will shift to a smaller bean counter organization that handles sales taxes coming in from the states, since most states already have a system for collecting sales taxes. This 10% won't cover our current budget? Great! This will force the Feds to fulfill their Constitutional responsibilities and shed the extra stuff to the states. Individuals won't have to file income taxes and the Feds will no longer want to run our healthcare, education, and welfare programs. They may even privatize the USPS and force them to stand on their own or sell off to UPS or Fedex. They would likely sell off Federal lands to eliminate overhead. The feds would be less likely to spend money on expensive wars and only concentrate on national defense without volunteering our sons to be the World's police force. This would force the Feds to downsize.

Well this is obviously a continuation of the obama policy of politicizing and weaponizing the IRS to go after the opposition...that is...Conservatives.
