Christian preacher.  Says.   The End is near.     Personally.  I don't think so.  I don't see some of the early signs.  First thing we have to see is the antichrist making a 7 year peace treaty with Israel.   Has that happened??   If it has, hold onto your butts.    I don't see the charismatic anti christ YET.  Nor have we seen anything on the seals being opened.

Is the Antichrist going to be charismatic? Or will he just draw in followers, for reasons others don't understand?

I'm thinking of Hussein, of course.

He'll be charismatic, people will be drawn to him.  He'll sound reasonable, He'll be pretty handsome, but there's this thing about women.  God's word says something like he'll have no use for them.  I"m not certain now how to take that. He will oppose and exalt himself above God. People say, DJT is the antichrist. No. not possible for a number of reasons.

There is a theory which i believe that says, because no one, not even Christ knows the time of the beginning of Tribulation, satan has to have 2 to 4 antichrists ready to go at any given time.

Not only will the Anti-Christ be charismatic but he/she will be able to do all sorts of "miraculous" things that will fool many. The Anti-Christ will have "powers" from hades that will make many think that he/she is the real deal.

The devil was an angel of light and was God's most beautiful angel prior to leading the rebellion and being tossed out of heaven. That is why nowhere in scripture are we ever told to "fight" the devil but, rather we are told to "resist" him. We are mortal and no match for the devil. God is his ONLY worthy opponent.

Pharaoh's "magicians" were able to duplicate a few of the miracles that God produced through Moses but, not all of them. I'm sure that there were folks on Pharaoh's "staff" who were fooled by what the "magicians" did and not able to see the power of God. Even Jesus when he walked the Earth in human form, did not "fight" the devil but rather resisted his attempts to thwart His mission and the Father's will.

"Antichrist" is technically anyone not Christ. (That's presumably on good authority also not Christ. LOL. It seems important to understand that anyone and everyone is antiChrist, but those who get that label are somehow more adaptable to Hollywood movies than those who don't draw that kind of negative attention.

Does that make sense? In other words, we are all anti-Christ in degrees of departure. That's one way to look at it if you have to look at it.

I'll try to avoid this subject in the future because "antichrist" is such a horrible allegory, I think. It isn't necessarily satanic or evil either.

Yeah..there are many antichrists.... But Revelations indicates there will be THE Antichrist.  God repeats in his word..cause we're stupid.   He repeats antichrists. Antiochus Epiphanes was one......Hitler was one.  Mao,  stalin, PolPot, Ceaucescue, some of the Roman emperors. Herod.   obama/pelosi, biden...minor ones.    They keep getting worse and worse till we have the one that many will not survive.
