That is for inside use, not made of rubber, not bone and is heavy duty. I need a good toy that he can gnaw on but not destroy in minutes. He loves to tear toys apart but then everyone is sad five minutes later. I'd be okay with something that lasted at least one day, but ecstatic if it lasted more than three. Anyone know of anything like that?

They are a very strong rubber. Think of tire rubber.  Kong dog toys can be filled with dog treats or peanut butter and will occupy dogs for at least a couple of hours.  My boxers used to love them.  They bounce funny when you throw them so it makes the chase more interesting.

Heavy duty tug ropes are OK also.

Nylabone.

They have treats, but also 'bones' that they can't destroy in a day.

My monsters like the raw beef bones from the butcher, but a vet told me that Nylabones are safer for their teeth as they age.

Sorry, I didn't specify. He doesn't like the rubber or nylabone toys. This is why I'm having trouble finding something that sticks around. He takes great delight in pulling things apart.. loves fabric and rope toys,, I've tried leather.. everything I can think of and he has a great time. It's just getting pricey. IF I get cheap thrift store animals, then it's even more work for me to clean piles of fluff.

Yeah, yeah. He's so easy to spoil! Three days worth of a toy, though; that's all I'm asking. Is it asking too much?

My dog used to enjoy chewing big rawhide "bones". He could work on them for hours until they were gone. He got along with them well.

You could buy them economically by the bag-full at Costco/Sam's Club a few years ago.
