i am in error. she evaded all torpeadoes in her first engagement, but took a bomb hit on top of turret #1 which damaged two of turret number twos guns. she fought that way in engagement two and was only hit by one 14" shell, this being on the turret #3 ring. she took 26 other punishing hits too, one being under water though later that night she was able to get up to flank speed of 27k. 40d 180w. 12 y/o Calvin Graham being one of the wounded.
