Ted and Robin, How I Met Your Mother.

If Ted was so in love with Robin all along, why did he go out with Tracy? Then Victoria (who he cheated on, by the way)? Then Stella? Their on-again, off-again romance was punctuated by manipulation, deception, and a rather immature dynamic. Thanks, but no thanks!  (I never warmed to Robin)



Izzie and George, Grey’s Anatomy.

A lot of couples have formed over the seasons of Grey’s Anatomy! Few are as hated as Izzie and George’s, though. At first friends, they became lovers when George cheated on his wife, Callie, with Izzie. Once George and Izzie were a couple, they had no chemistry, and Izzie spent her time wavering between loving him and not loving him. It had to end! Sadly, it also ruined their friendship.



Jackie and Fez, That ’70s Show.

Apparently, the writers of That ’70s Show just lacked inspiration when it came to putting Jackie and Fez together. They’re not a toxic couple, but Jackie had always rejected Fez’s advances. Why give in now? Was she heartbroken after Kelso and Steven? It’s just not that believable.



Willow and Kennedy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Willow clearly chose Kennedy on the rebound to get over Tara’s death. Kennedy appears to admire Willow only for her magic, while Willow exploits the would-be vampire slayer’s powers without asking her. In short, Buffy fans have many opinions about who Willow should have ended up with, and it’s rarely Kennedy!  (A man maybe?)



Cristina and Owen, Grey’s Anatomy.

Is it really that hard to find a life partner who doesn’t kick you out and ignore you when you want an abortion, who doesn’t cheat on you, and who doesn’t do everything possible to ensure you don’t get your dream job abroad? Cristina picked a real jerk with Owen. (Matter of opinion as Cristina was the jerk imo)



Daphne and Simon, Bridgerton.

This relationship was born out of a lie to preserve Daphne’s reputation. Despite eventually falling in love, Daphne and Simon maintain a toxic relationship. Daphne is desperate to be a mother, even if it means playing a trick on Simon, who refuses to open up to Daphne and lies to her about sex. This is far from romantic, even for the 19th century!  (Never seen it but they don't look right Lol)



Carrie and Alexander, Sex and the City.

Carrie Bradshaw may write a column about affairs of the heart, but she still has trouble seeing her own malfunctioning relationship. Alexander is a famous, wealthy, and cultured artist, but has little in common with Carrie. He despises her friends (always a red flag!) and constantly puts his work first. Meanwhile, Carrie seems willing to change her look and personality simply to please Alexander. Bad idea!
