I watch The Block on and off so I guess that makes me dumb!

I was generalizing about the psychological thrust of
all the shows combined....
When I channel surf I catch a glimpse of these shows..
but thats all it is...a glimpse...hence my criticism...
If you want to waste your time watching the Block...
Go for it....

Nothing else on free-to-air to watch and the new seasons of the shows I do normally watch elsewhere aren't airing yet.  

I NEVER watch those other shows you mentioned nor MAFS, Beauty and the Geek, Survivor, that jungle show, Big Brother, the dating ones etc.   Gawd you'd have to be brain dead to watch those shows.

In the first episode of The Block one of the women on the teams identified as an 'influencer'

I thought "oh noes, I can't watch that stupid bimbo" and thought about not watching anymore but the stupid cow and her husband found it too hard and stealthily packed up in the middle of the night and disappeared within 48 hours.  Apart from the fact they just couldn't hack it they complained the toilet paper was too scratchy.  Lol

So I'm safe to watch now.  They're gone!

I like to watch league and rugby, I used to have sky tv, My son has found a site that streams the games live for free, so have enjoyed watching the All Blacks get their asses kicked , I will probably get up at 3am and watch the last game in the south Africans tour, This will piss the X off as I tend to get a little excited lol
