Fwiw, my sister in CT is sure the Pubs are going to wipe the floor w/Dems. She was sure that Blumenthal has seen the last of his days in office. The gov'r, as well. His name escapes me.

Sorry, but it's hard to tell just how well Trump's calls are doing, considering it doesn't show ALL the seats that are open for filling.

It's the Senate that concerns me. It's hard to conceive why constituents would want Dems representing their state in D.C. But then, the abortion issue could be leading that cause.

It would serve our country well to repeal the 17th Amendment. That was a fubar idea.

My concern is that if ANY Amendments are repealed, Dens will use that to "justify" repeal of the 2nd, (which is what they want to do anyway).

I can't see southern Americans giving up guns.

Busy!  But good.  The back's coming along nicely, thank you.  How 'boutchu?

P.S.  As for the 'busy' part...  Although small, our garden did well, so I've been finding new ways to put up zucchini, freezing the bell peppers, and finally learned how to make tomato sauce w/an abundance of tomatoes.  Starting to slow down now.

Plus I need to get my home and hearth ready for 3 sisters who are coming for a week's stay in Sept.  VERY excited.
