Special Kitty cat food

been buying it for a long time because i was taking care of nine kitties...myself and my neighbor...we were taking turns. i'm doing it by myself right now. So i haven't been finding SK so i ordered online today from waltermart. about 2 hours later, they say. not available...which prompts me to go find out why.

I find that through several purchases JM smucker owns special kitty and it is the Walmart house brand. JM smucker does not have a good reputation i hear now. And I can't find it anywhere so i read that there is a recall. The worst of the symptoms...is ....death. Wow. JUST LIKE THE VAXX. Everything is following that formula. Well...fine then. Another thing that Walmart is backing out of...they don't do photodeveloping anymore...which will lose some customers. me. Now cat food. I'm sick of these damn people. It's become the gov't store.

Special Kitty is absolute garbage that will kill cats!

Like you , I bought it for several years because I was feeding 8 or 9 outside cats. So i also fed it too my inside cat. Got to be made in China. I've seen the recalls on SK.

He stayed skinny and frequently had loose stools.

All these cat foods have taurine, which is a basic necessity for cats. But most are crap, and none worse than Special Kitty.

Even Purina products are crap.

4 years ago, when I moved out here and was left with only one cat, I started feeding him 4 Health brand cat food. Comes in many varieties and flavors. It's not cheap. But not expensive if you buy the large bag. I might buy 2 bags a year.

Immediately he gained weight and was more energetic. He was already 13 yo by that time. I wholeheartedly regret not giving him better. After the switch, it was undeniable.

It's available only at Tractor Supply Stores or online.

The 2-15" Peavey bass amp cabinet loaded with JBL's and ohm converted, does not come with the cat food.

I WILL NOT be buyin special kitty anymore. The taurine is probably why you shouldn't feed dog food to cats. right? I was thinking,....if things got tight..i could feed them dogfood cause i can still get more of that than catfood. guess not.

I wish i could take photo and send it to this site. I really don't know how to successfully do that. BUT i bought this primitive little chest a couple years ago. kept it in my garage and the captain has a conniption periodically over it. Had a friend in and she looked at it and it was made out of arm and hammer boards...very primitive. So i waxed it up today. the thing that really got me interested in it is the arm and hammer insignia on the inside drawer and the bottom has a hidey hole under the drawer. I like that little feature.

Looks cute all waxed up and sanded again.

Cats will eat dog food and love it.  But lacks cat nutrients.
My old kitty is going crazy! First thing in the morning, he wants his 1 or 2 tablespoons of evaporated milk.  If you put regular milk or reconstituted, non-fat, dry milk in the bowl , he will look at dat and then me, and telepath,  WTF IS THIS! He will not drink whole milk. Lol.
Gotta be canned milk!

This started many years ago as I woke up and made coffee.
And he's always been patient about it. But now, he's more demanding !

If I'm not up by 7am . He will jump on my chest and wake me up. Lol

"Bitch where's my morning milk"!

What can you do?  He's 17 years old and in good health and has been with me So long through thick and thin.

Gunna be  hard to lose him.

It's very easy to post a pic here. Its exactly like vbulletin!

In the same block of icons as the YouTube icon , the very first one IS the pic , upload , icon.

You make a post or not, then hit that icon.
A window will open asking you to select a file. Click select +. Make sure it displays the + sign if you post mobile.
The file options as to where you want to choose the file to upload will appear. You can choose from your photos or files.

Select the pic or gif from your files , wait for it to upload on the blue bar, then it will ask you to insert it into the post box . Do that , and hit send.

Give it a try.

It's very simple but I'd be glad to help any one with it.
