Virtually everything that the Democrats do to subvert the Constitution, U.S. Law and the United States is all framed as "upholding Democracy". There are many voters (mostly Democrats), who fall for this ruse.
What Democrats hope for is that one of their subversive acts will be successful. The voters won't realize what has happened until it is too late, THAT is what Democrats hope for.
