ABC continuing its ‘anti-Catholic witch hunt’ against Cardinal George Pell

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says the ABC “has a special responsibility to be fair” to Cardinal George Pell in its reporting but has continued its “anti-Catholic witch hunt”.

The father of a former choirboy, who prosecutors claimed had been abused by Cardinal Pell, is suing the former Melbourne Archbishop and the Church.

The man is claiming “damages for nervous shock” after finding out allegations of sexual abuse against his son.

“This man is suing Pell, who is innocent, for not foreseeing the shock this father would feel when police told him about a rape of his son that, spoiler alert, actually never happened,” Mr Bolt said.

“Sue the police instead, they're the ones who wrongly charged Pell after a farce of an investigation.

“They're the ones who shocked this man by telling him his son had been raped when the evidence shows he wasn't.”

Cardinal Pell was acquitted of all charges of sexual assault.

Australian Broadcasting Corp - its government funded and using its power to witch hunt . Much like the PBS here that broadcast government ideology only and is funded by American citizens

As to the story - what kind of a greedy, slimy, wimp does it take for a "man" - and I use the word loosely - to sue somebody over getting bad news? I hope he's a laughing stock in Oz.
Still, yes, the ABC needs to show non-bias.

It's become a biased 'progressive' left wing tool funded by taxpayers to the tune of $1 billion per year. It's a disgrace and pushes all the left wing talking points. It advocates strongly for more immigration, accepting boat people with open arms, same sex marriage, multicultiralism, feminism, environmentalism, gender bending etc etc etc.

It doesn't even try to hide its bias nowadays and is run by screeching feminists. It's an embarrassment and the leftist Bible.

They keep coming up with scewed polls citing it as the most trusted news source in Australia. Ummm hello? That's absolute

Sounds just like PBS, (Public Broadcasting S?), and NR?, (National Radio). They push the same things as the station you described, and even get to our kids via Sesame Street.
Many have been screaming for their defunding for years. Apparently, we're wasting our breath.

Oh, I forgot   ...   as Australia Day (26th January) rolls around every year the ABC also push for it to be re-named and re-dated.   Apparently it is upsetting to the Abos (who get neverending reparations) and it needs to be re-named Invasion Day!
