Some years ago, Japan, UK US all had high birth rates...
Those countries were some of the most expensive places in which to live...
Fast forward to to-day...
Japans birth rate is on the ropes....
Australias birth rate is going downhill fast....

That's not an accident or even a unintended consequence. it is exactly what they want. They need a smaller population. You're less likely to put up any fuss at anything they do.

That's an intended consequence. The only people who keep having kids are the people who don't expect to support them. Leftists don't care because that means the next generation will be raised by the state and support big government.

Do you think it should have its own forum here for discussion? After all, to the extent it is true, and I don't think it is, at least not binging on an extinction, it is important. Certainly, there must be a part of you that sort of roots for it. (Hint: think clean beaches, etc.)
