The Bible says that we fight not against flesh and blood but, against principalities and powers. The Bible also says that we can do nothing without God and that the devil is a toothless lion seeking whom he may devour. "Resist the devil and he will flee".

Even the Disciples were targets for the devil. At one point Jesus even told them that the devil was going to sift one of them like wheat. I am certainly no better than a Disciple and can only resist the devil with God.

I keep looking for more guidance on how to prayer in this situation.

Once again you are spot on. I have to say it was much worse when the "Son of Man" walked the planet. It is very easy to be a believer when you are looking out the window of your corner office and the buxom red headed secretary is at your beck and call. I'm only saying now is the time we look to HIS teachings and try and emulate what HE would do. A hint would be his final words. "Forgive them FATHER for they now not what they do". Granted revenge and pay back seems to feel good, but it is a dead end street and is "not my yob mon"

Not sure what you are referencing with regard to "revenge and pay back". Upholding the law is neither revenge nor pay back but penalizing
"deplorables", Christians, Trump supporters, patriots, Americans and President Trump himself IS vindictive and hateful.
