Woke Realty - coming to a neighborhood near you!

If you wake up in your “master bedroom” — you are apparently not woke.

Following the lead of several U.S. realty groups, the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board last week announced it would stop using “master” citing the word’s ties to slavery as well as racist and sexist connotations.

Maybe I'm just old, but I find that "woke" crap to be stupid and I refuse to do it.

Godammned stupidity.

My niece, the realtor, will laugh when she hears about this.

Unfortunately our education system screws them up even if we don't. I home schooled my daughter. She did fine through under grad. But she was an assistant to a strident feminist while getting her master's and has lived in the John's Hopkins community for 5 years now while her husband gets his doctorate. It is rubbing off on her little by little. Lefty stupidity is relentless.

Pretty soon we won't be able to say the word kitchen because it will offend people who don't cook. Better cancel the term dining room as well in case we offend people with eating disorders.

Ya know...I'm all gloom and doom; and I really don't want to be that way. It's not my aim in life to be the pooper of the party.

But there's times I have to be realistic.

These SJWs...even first stipulating that they CAN change society; that their opponents in government/academia will just allow it (which may or may not be the case) it will take YEARS. DECADES.

How will they do it? Media blitzes. Then, Consciousness-Raising sessions in the workplace. Then, punishing Non-Woke businesses.

I'm retired. THANK GOD. I am two miles from the rail yard I worked out of; and the road by it is a shortcut to downtown. I SEE these engineers wearing face diapers as they try to work. I see, in the main office building (a side street less than a mile from my apartment complex) all the worker bees, with face diapers, in the windows. Seriously. This is a small town - you couldn't walk by the BNSF HQ in Fort Worth and see in their windows; or CSX's in Jacksonville - the buildings are set way back beyond gates and guards; but Rail Link's buildings are right up against the sidewalk.

So I get a taste of the world I left, and how they're reacting to the New Normal.

Anyway. I'm out of it. I don't GAF what they do with (anti)Social Mediuh. It's a shame they're Cancelling and censoring conservatives, even conservative-leaning moderates...but I know most of what I will ever know. Shutting up Dennis Prager hurts our world but doesn't strip me of my knowledge.

It will take DECADES of Struggle Sessions and shooting MAGA wearers and jailing Trump family members...and, guess what.

I don't have decades. I seriously give myself ten years...fifteen at the outset.

If we get Medicair 4 Awl, I die sooner.

If my pension is cancelled for my Whiteness, then I have maybe five years. Que sera. I cannot control it.

On one level, it's sobering. I can remember stuff twenty years ago like it was yesterday. A lot of stuff, much of it good. There's probably no twenty years FROM now, for me.

But it eases my worries. I know how my parents and grandparents went - except for my mother, in nursing homes. I'd rather avoid that, even if it means skipping the last few years.

I have no kids, so there's no worries there. My siblings are SJWs and data-tech rich, so they deserve the hell that's coming.

I'm at peace, at least on that level.
