I'm with you. Raise the propellers to the top of the frame to get the pilot out of the plane of rotation and I'd love to fly it.

My concern is that one of the rotors would eat itself and throw it's blades at me. If you lost one blade, you may be able to still land it and survive. At altitude, a parachute may be feasible. I doubt that thing is all that heavy.
