Officers are provided with a training bulletin in regard to foot pursuits. It states that the general public’s safety, as well as that of the suspect and officers, should be the highest priority when the decision is made whether to pursue the fleeing suspect or not.

Police officers are already required to get permission from a supervisor to initiate a vehicle pursuit of a suspect.

And thus continues the never-ending pursuit of how to accommodate the lowest common denominators of society.

A person could get the distinct impression that our governments nationally to locally are intentionally trying to collapse America's systems of government. Then that same person could make the next logical step that the same governments want to install new systems of government. But that can't be. It is just so much conspiracy theory, right?

The police should simply surround the outskirts of the city and let the thuggery and mayhem ensue.

Then take aim on all those who try to escape.

Maybe the Democrats could also make it that Police officers cannot fire their weapons unless the Supervisor also gives them permission. Maybe after they are murdered the Supervisor could give them permission to use their weapons.

I truly think that Democrats are trying to make local police fail.  I think they want to introduce federal police all over the US.  Think about that.  Getting rid of cops, so they can install bigger cops.  They are supporting the defunding police and limiting their capabilities until cops no longer feel safe doing their job.  They want the public begging for security and the Democrats are more than willing to give it to them.  If cities want to defund or diminish their cops, let them burn.  Insurance companies will leave and nobody will do business there.

I used to work in New Orleans and nobody wanted to live there.  4 of us were rotated in for 2 week shifts and we did it for years.  We worked 70-80 hours/week while we were down there.  After Katrina and the chaos down there after Katrina, business left.  I've been down there twice since 2005 and that was just for overnight trips.  This will happen in all big cities who encourage chaos, unless we let the feds enable them and provide "security".

Why even bother then?

I was watching a video from Brandon Tatum (The Officer Tatum), and he had some interesting insights into this. He said that the Police should just not respond to these neighborhoods and let them kill each other. It seems like law enforcement is wrong no matter what they do and using lethal force regardless of how justified it is, is an opportunity for an ambulance chaser to sue the city and collect millions. This may be the new way to get reparations.

Chicago police should quit, let the social workers and women on the "view" handle things, they seem to know exactly what should be done.
