BREAKING: U.S. Capitol Evacuated Due to 'Probably Threat' of 'Aircraft Intrusion'

UPDATE: The U.S. Capitol Police said “there is no threat at the Capitol” after sending out an alert that there was a “probable threat to the Capitol Complex” due to an aircraft.

“The Capitol was evacuated out of an abundance of caution this evening,” the police said in a statement.

The U.S. Capitol and surrounding buildings were evacuated due to “an aircraft that poses a probable threat to the Capitol Complex,” the United States Capitol Police said in an issue alerted Wednesday.
