Church Bans ‘White People’ Music for Lent

A Chicago-area church said it “will not be using any music or liturgy written or composed by white people” during Lent.

The First United Church of Oak Park is marking 40 days of “fasting from whiteness.”

“In our worship services throughout Lent, we will not be using any music or liturgy written or composed by white people. Our music will be drawn from the African American spirituals tradition, from South African freedom songs, from Native American traditions, and many, many more,” it said.

“For Lent, it is our prayer that in our spiritual disciplines we may grow as Christians, united in the body of Christ with people of all ages, nations, races, and origins,” the church added.

Turning Point USA posted footage of the “Fasting from Whiteness” sign outside the church building, criticizing them for creating “disunity” and moving “back to segregation times.”

So that church is openly and blatantly discriminating based upon race/skin color for "lent"?

When a church starts in with race-baiting and racial hatred, you know who their god, their leader, is.

But that's nothing surprising, coming from Chicongo. That's where Rev'rund Jeremiah Wrong's foul blasphemous church, you know, Doprah's church, Barry Soetoro's church, was located at.

Just more of the same. Chicongo seems to be an epicenter of evil for black people.

The sad part is that the Democrats just keep aiding and abetting people to get murdered all while claiming that they are attempting to stop the violence. Of course only the apathetic and gullible really believe that.

I wonder.....is the pastor of this church a REAL pastor, went to seminary or something like that? Or just another FAKE, self-appointed pastor like Al Sharpton....

It's difficult to ascertain and doesn't matter really. There are people who will follow because they spend no time in God's word and so are easily led astray. In the same way there are many people who believe that election fraud is a "conspiracy theory", that the WuFlu came about naturally and that the "Vaccine" is safe and effective.
