Is anyone else watching 1883?

I have really gotten hooked. Elsa is getting on my last nerve though. Sam Elliott is worth the whole thing

I'm watching it but I can barely understand what Sam Elliott is saying half the time.  It sounds like he's talking with cotton wool stuffed in his mouth Lol.

Elsa is starting to irritate me too but only 2 episodes to go so I assume we'll finally have it explained to us what actually happened in the first episode.

On reflection didn't she have on that same blue dress in the first episode when everyone was getting slaughtered? That dress is history now.

Elsa has gotten on my nerves too. They have turned her into a Mary Sue. I understand she will be killed off soon.

Well...spoiler alert. Her either fiance or newly wed husband will get killed.

She's cute. She doesn't annoy me but then i stopped watching after first episode. I am not paying people anymore than i have to for tv. And besides. Ain't nothin' new under the sun.

The story line isn't new.  Which ones are?  I don't pay to watch, I seek out new shows then d/l them and the ones that look reasonable I continue to d/l weekly.

Reacher is another good one.   So much better than the Tom Cruise version in the movies.  Cruise was not a good choice to portray Jack Reacher.  I've read all the books and love the character and the new series is pretty good.

See with Jason Momoa isn't too bad either although I haven't started on season 2 yet.

I follow few actors but not subjects. I haven't seen a western for a long time. I didn't see True Grit, a great movie, until a couple years ago -- both the John Wayne one and the Jeff Bridges one. Not interested in the genre, but if you recommend a particular title, I'm sure it's a good flick. Sam Elliot is definitely an excellent bet.

So is the Lone Ranger's horse; I miss that horse. Lassie too. Rin-Tin-Tin. King, Toto ... that list is pretty long, I guess because I'm intellectually deep.

1883 is on Paramount Plus. I know a secret to see these shows.
