I've been wondering that myself and, if so, when.

Her: "What for? There's nothing they can do."
Me: "Yes, they can, but I doubt you want your tailbone docked. For PAIN KILLERS."
I fractured my tailbone a few years ago, it took forever to completely heal, I had to sit kinda sideways in the truck, if we went anywhere......it's a searing, burning pain.

I can empathize sincerely, as I've busted mine. At the time, one of the hangers that worked for my husband had a nurse for a wife. Mr. 2 called. Yes, she had what I needed. (IOW, mega pain killers.) Although it was late at night and they lived over an hour away, he dropped what he was doing, and met my husband halfway.Abby08 wrote:2cent wrote:Know what you brought up? Sometimes the giving good heartedness of people is enough to bring tears to your eyes. I swear.
I laid on the couch for a week, and those meds only helped w/the pain, (didn't want to overdo), but at least it was no longer screaming agony.
Oh, and it was Thanksgiving. And we were hosting. I waddled side to side getting it all together. But by then, I was on the mend. Got to where I could blow up a kid's swimming tube, and use that for a 'donut'.
My mom did as I did - fell off a chair backwards, landing squared on her tailbone on a hard floor. Then lived w/it withOUT any pain killers beyond aspirin.
Yeah, they take forever to heal. Hope you had something to help you through it.
