Bridgewater college shooting a couple days ago...2 security officers shot

So this guy 27 apparently was living in some building on campus and some worker stumbled across him...naked and lots of guns. He reports it to two security officers. They come in to see him. The guy shoots the white officer in the face and he dies instantly. The black officer runs and he is shot in the back. No one can get to him because of the lockdown. meanwhile the shooter has taken off and is on an island in the middle of the river. Now he is travelling toward Dynamic Aviation. They lock down. Cops finally catch the guy in the river and he's in custody. While all that was happening, the black officer calls his wife...they'd been married for a year. They talk as he is bleeding out. He passed away.

The shooter was an athlete at the college around 2013. his mother says he has had mental issues. He was charged with something in 2017. Burglary maybe. He may MAY have been living in and around the college since that time.

The officers were taken to Roanoke for autopsies. Their bodies released yesterday at 2pm and were escorted all the way back to Harrisonburg by police officers from all jurisdictions up and down and across from I-81. Their bodies arrived H'burg around 4pm and they are at Kyger Funeral Home. That's all i have. Info has been hard to come by.
