Many Americans don't see the erosion of liberties as major threats because they're coming from corporate, not government.

Republicans would be wise to take note of eroding liberties coming at the behest of corporatists pulling the levers to manipulate public opinion and their representatives in turn. In the meantime, Americans are kidding themselves if they think their nation in lockdown ruled by unelected corporatists often with higher loyalty to China is still a truly free country.

What can we do.    I say boycott as a group...a large group.  And we can't get all of them at one time but maybe we can hurt a few at a time and just keep pushing it.

We have to be united and we have to be consistent. AND we can adopt some of the tactics of the left. signs, propaganda.


also use passive aggressiveness...hurt them in the pocketbook and prestige as often as the opportunity presents itself along with the boycott.

Those are all things that SHOULD work, but I see it as rather bleak. We aren't united. Perhaps in thought, online for a time, but then we go about our lives and do what's expedient for us. I can't tell you how many people were staunchly against masks and vaccinations, but tell them they can't get on a big metal flying tube and they falter.

Frankly, I'm finding it rather difficult to extricate myself from 2 big companies because the enormity of doing it would take me a lifetime to learn and I am pretty much a hermit who enjoys convenient things. So there's my hypocrisy. Now compound that across the country.

you can find substitutes for what you believe you can't do without.   I decided i was not going to buy mountain dew and believe me....i was a super fan and purchaser.   This has been going on for better than 2 years.  I wish i'd written it down but it was when that woman ceo of Mtn Dew, it goes by another big name, during Trump admin.

I gave it up...kept looking for a suitable alternative and found it.   Now mtn dew tastes terrible to me.

DO that with anything.    Remember...THIS IS OUR FREEDOM at stake.  The country. OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN.

DO it if it hurts.  ISn"T ThAT what our early settlers did in order to get religious freedom.    THAT cost them bigtime.  and our founding fathers.  They paid an enormous price for their signatures on that document. They lost their fortunes, some lost their wives and children and their own lives. But they secured their honor and duty.   Can we do any less than the piddly amount we can do??

Anything and everything? Can't be done. Do you know how many fingers and subsets of companies are all tied together? Very little that you purchase doesn't have some connection to some company that has stated political divergence or gives money to commies and trannies and all sorts of perversions. And, if you happen to dig deep and consume a lot of your time finding something, it'll cost you more than that time.

You can only do what you can do.  I'm not saying don't do anything, just that the whole country ain't banding together to git 'er done.  It's just not happening.  On a large scale, a big show would be for people to just STOP flying and let the airlines go under.  That would be the easiest thing in my estimation, but it's not happening.  But I'm not really surprised.  After all, we won't even do the tiny things in unification like refuse to pay for registrations and licenses for all sorts of things.

Meh. They think they run the country, and maybe they do on some level. They'll continue running it into the ground. However, they don't run my life, and I'm sure they don't run yours.
