Portable AC Power
One of my oldest setups. Used to use this one when camping many years ago in conjunction with a small solar panel. If things got depleted, I would just spend one night running a small 800W generator for power and to charge everything back up. Generator ran 10 hours on one gallon of gasoline.
Although I have a larger inverter now, I still use this one the most. I can run a 32 inch tv(50W), Fan(60W), and an assortment of lamps/lights, charge items either AC, DC, USBport, and have power to spare. Run time= about 8 hours or more at 100-150 watt draw. Battery will still have a 50-60% charge. I can then finish the discharge using items plugged into the DC power points(I made dat myself.lol) or recharge the battery by generator or wall receptacle.
400 watts max.

Until I can find the remedy, I think you can just click on the pic to see it in its entirety.

New deep cycle. Got three or four. Lol . Got some regular ones too. Or just hook the thing up to the truck or tractor with an extension cord running to the house. Lol. Or even a riding mower.vege57 wrote:HawkTheSlayer wrote:Dammit. Gotta go find out how to reduce pic size. Booooooo.

That thing is prolly 20 + years old bought at Wal-Mart for 45 dollas.
My nephew blew it up about 2 years ago when he reversed the polarity hooking it up. It was fused. I took it apart, went to Auto Zone and replaced the fuses . Still works great!
I have a 2000 watt inverter but you'd have to have that thing hooked up to a golf cart , 6 battery , deep cycle, array for it to last or just hook it up to a company truck, running, that you don't have to pay gasoline for.
Hell, great in a bind but I just as well start the 7000 watt gen up.
Thing is , the inverters are quiet . Little noise.
