Australia to safeguard our own Children

............ Covid-19 vaccinations for more than two million Australian children will begin in weeks, with regulators giving the green light for the rollout of jabs for those aged ­between five and 11.

The final regulatory hurdle for the vaccination program to be ­extended to children will be lifted on Friday morning, with the first jabs to be administered from January 10.

The decision will end months of doubt for millions of vaccinated parents who have been unsure about how to protect their young children. It will also mean Australia is one of the first countries after the US and Canada to approve Covid-19 vaccinations for children in this age bracket ................

To date in Australia, there have been no deaths from COVID-19 among children aged less than 10 years, and one death in an adolescent.
