LeBron James Ejected From Game

LeBron James was ejected after a wild fight broke out in the Los Angeles Lakers’ win over the Detroit Pistons on Monday morning.

All hell broke loose three minutes into the third quarter when James collected Detroit’s Isaiah Stewart with an elbow to the head after contesting a box out during a free throw.

It left Stewart needing five stitches after the game.

That clip left Stewart bloodied and he immediately went after the Lakers superstar, with a massive brawl ensuing as the officials struggled to contain the situation.

James went over to apologise but Stewart was having none of it, going after him and having to be physically held back.

The PA announcers in Detroit were forced to take action too, constantly reminding fans to stay in their seats while also imploring them to not throw any objects at James when he was ejected and headed up the tunnel.

“Fans stay in your seats, do not come onto the floor,” he said.

“Do not enter the floor. All fans stay in your seats. Do not come onto the floor and do not throw any objects. Don’t do it or you will be nabbed and sent to jail. Stay where you are.”

Stewart was also ejected for his actions while Russell Westbrook was issued with a technical foul.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has been suspended for one game while Detroit’s Isaiah Stewart received a two-game ban following an ugly incident on Sunday in Detroit.

The NBA announced the suspensions on Monday in the US, with the players ruled out of games on Tuesday.

James will not play when the Lakers visit Madison Square Garden to play the New York Knicks.

Stewart will miss the Pistons’ home game against Miami on Tuesday and their game on Wednesday against reigning champions Milwaukee.

James will forfeit about $US284,000 ($A392,000) in salary, while Stewart will lose about $US45,000 ($A62,000).

It is the first suspension in the 19-year career of James, who has won four NBA titles with three teams.

LeBron is in the first year of a two-year, $85.6 million contract. He is receiving $41.2 million of that this season, meaning he earns $502,201 per game.

However, that is not the amount of money he will lose due to his suspension.

NBA players in fact lose 0.7 percent of their annual salary for every game they miss through suspension when the overall suspension is for less than 20 games.

That means James will lose $288,263 following his Sunday skirmish in Detroit.

The suspension means James will miss out on his only trip to Madison Square Garden for the season, with the Lakers scheduled to play to Knicks in New York on Tuesday night.

I think it would be hysterical if people boycotted their next game....then his team mates would be pissed with him too.
