Ya left on Albany, NY, San Francisco, CA and Washington DC. DC probably should not be included, as it is in a class by itself.

EvilCat Breath wrote:Bannock is not supposed to be haunted. Yes, I did write a book not about Henry Plummer but he was certainly a main character. I enjoyed writing the book but they are not really saleable. Publishers are looking for lbgt or black exclusively. Unless you are a successful writer with a bankable history forget it.
I am writing a book with my son about an overweight, lesbian sorceress from Italy set in steam punk London. See where that goes.
I like time travel stories putting very modern women into very real historical situations with very real historical people. For instance a very modern female criminal and murderer with the very corrupt Henry Plummer. I made every one of his gang from the old Hells Angels that I knew. One might find this an interesting subject. Alas. Nope. But. Bannock is not said to be haunted.
It's off-topic; but I hope you can take some steps to have your stuff published at some future date.
It's little consolation; but right now, we as a culture are completely insane. The West, its unique culture as it was settled, has been a saleable topic for over a century, and will be, again, once this obsession with faggotry passes, and we again gain sanity.
You may not profit from it, but as with other authors who passed away before their books took off...perhaps you can steer the rights to a charity you trust.
It's morbid but I'm serious. Not long ago, a book about the Wild West and a corrupt sheriff like Plummer, would have been a bestseller. Will be, again. This obsession with deviant sex, can't last.

What's in Elkhorn?
Long ago...silver.
Then, tumbleweeds.
More recently...hippies. I'm serious. I was through Elkhorn in 1990, as a tourist. Spent the night there. There was nobody there; and there were big signs telling passers-by that the majority of the collapsing structures were privately owned and with taxes paid.
I was up there this summer, looking for a SHTF hidey-hole. I was ASTOUNDED at how it's come back to life - there are more occupied buildings than empty ones. The only two remaining ghost structures are, the Elks Lodge, shown, and the store next to it. Most old cabins not cleared, have collapsed; and there are about a dozen new or completely-rebuilt structures.
Lots of life.
Even though there's no through road through it. Others, with the same ideas I have, have apparently taken over Elkhorn.
