you're right. At Answers in Genesis, the experts call it historical science or Origins science. they're guessing as opposed to Observational science. The science we all remember from school.

Re: The Bible speaks to Modern Science
And HIstory...the Bible as history. Ken Ham recently said something that really struck me...especially as it relates to the Great Flood of Noah's time.
“Answers in Genesis wants the world to know that the Bible is not just a book of religion, or morality, or just a book of spiritual things—although it is all those things. We want people, including future museum visitors, to understand that the Bible is a book of history. And, because that history is true, the message of the gospel based in that history is true.”
You see, the first book of the Bible relates to us the account of the biological, geological, astronomical, and anthropological history of the universe—and this history is confirmed by observational science in genetics, biology, geology, and astronomy. Because this history as revealed in the Bible is true, then the message of the Christian gospel (concerning salvation from our sin of rebellion in the first man Adam) is true—that the Son of God stepped into history to become one of us and to die (but as a sinless man) on a cross (because death was the penalty for our sin), was raised from the dead (conquering death), and now offers a free gift of salvation (to live with God for eternity in a New Heavens and earth—with no death) to those who will receive it. This is the statement of this Creation Museum.

The thumpers have resorted now to saying the Bible supports science instead of refuting it?
That's a bit rich Calypso but I suppose a lack of answers when it comes to refuting science had to end in a belief saving compromise , yes?

Re: The Bible speaks to Modern Science
I have never said the bible refutes Science. As you can see. many early legitimate scientists and even today, have used the bible to begin their search for the science behind certain statements in God's word. The Bible is not a science book but everytime it addresses the topic of 'science' it is proven CORRECT.
