A refreshing cool off drink

I start the day with a cup and uh of coffee. My brew 2 scoops of PR Yaucono coffee. 3 scoops of DD French Vanilla, dash each of cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Makes 2 cups.
I take the left over coffee and put it in a small jar in the fridge. When I'm need of a pick me up, I add a splash of vanilla, scoop or so of Nestle cocoa, and top off with heavy cream. Sweeten to taste, and shake well.
Did you know that Costco Heavy Cream and Half and Half (both probably are Land o Lakes) is ultra pasteurized? This means it has a shelf life measured in weeks rather than days. It also means it is poor choice for making home made yogurt

you're gonna hate me for this.   I only drink ..........instant.

you know why? it's consistent. I got so tired of getting a poor cup of coffee..especially in Cracker Barrel. HATE their coffee.

But. i can make a kickin' iced coffee much like you make your cool coffee drink.

I could lose my coonass license for this, but I brew medium roast coffee.
I grew up drinking hand-dripped dark roast that made espresso look like water.

The old people only drank a small demitasse cup in the morning.

Mon vieux Nonc Ree-shard(my old uncle Richard) only brewed chicory root or coffee/chicory blend. He harvested and dried chicory in his shed. Plant looks almost like dandelion.

When i was last in N'orlens i bought this bucket of coffee and chicory.

Chicory is survival food coffee.

I drink unsweet iced tea from sun up to sun down. I probably get too much caffeine, but I don't get any calories or sugar and I like the ice.
