Ladies, I need New Sheets
Yes, I generally shop percale, and at least 300 ct., hopefully more than that. However, my last buy was bamboo sheets, (which Mr.2 loves, and I can't stand), and looking at what's available, it appears I've lost track of what's a good bargain, and what's a "Definitely Do NOT!." (IOW, so uncomfortable, you don't want to make that mistake at any cost.)
But I don't want to get ripped off, either. JSYK, I think it's ridiculous to have to spend $100+ on a basic king sized sheet set. But I see prices all over the place, and don't know what's quality, and what's regrettable.
Help?

Re: Ladies, I need New Sheets
The last sheets i purchased and i am very happy with them was ...i hate this...walmart. Don't remember the brand but high thread count...at least 600 and i love the feel and the look. I don't like polyesters so they have to be 100 percent cotton. About 69.00 for a king set. I can't remember now if that included the pillow cases.
I don't like king sized pillows for some reason...too big for me i think? I prefer no larger than queen but i prefer standard more. That means i have to alter my pillow cases or buy them separate.

Nothing wrong w/finding what you want at Wally World. Only time a buy is wrong is when you come away w/what you don't want, or DON't buy what you do want, just 'cuz of the name on the front of a store. (However, you'd catch hell seeing me step foot in Target. We all have our limits.)
I'm gonna be in WW tomorrow, so will check the shelves. Thanks for the input.

I am the same with Target...where i could handle WW and get MY way....target was another matter. MASKHOLES. Same as Costcucks. I wish i could find the package online at WW. It's the sheets that they generally carry.

FWIW, I strip a bed, wash, dry, put back on. Yes, I've spare sheets, but don't see the point in folding if I don't have to.

Good thinking. I hate folding sheets.

Re: Ladies, I need New Sheets
@Calypso Jones, I saw the exact sheets you brought up, but forgot to take note of the brand name. Oops. lol.
I hope I don't regret what I did buy. Better Homes & Gardens was $10 less and promises "temperature regulating." "Cools you when hot, warms you when cold." Yeah. Uh huh. We'll see.
Only problem is, they're only 400 thread count. Eeek.
But! the ones you talked about only had "Hotel Fit" in the king size, and I didn't know what that meant.
Anyway, I'll letcha know. It'll be a few days before they hit the bed.

It meant deep corners. If you don't like them. Fold them up and take them back. I would. Save your packaging. AND your receipt. I always do. Save packaging until i'm satisfied. Save receipts for a year. i have one of those deposit bags and every receipt i have i place it in that....newest in the front.

We are too much alike. lol. This receipt, I'll tape to the packaging. But other stuff that has warranties? I staple the receipt to the inside of the cover of the owner's manual, and it goes in the "Warranty" folder in the filing cabinet.Calypso Jones wrote:It meant deep corners. If you don't like them.
