Hello, came here hoping a new forum without Private Pickle being a moderator. Yes he is the reason why I stopped posting there, as he trolled a thread I started, reported it to Adelaide no response for TWO months, sent another PM to the Administrator, who replied quickly promising to have this complaint settled he never comes back, then Adelaide suddenly show up tells me she doesn't agree with my complaint.

I have been Administrators and Moderators of many forums over the years, I expect mods to set the example on how to post in threads and to defend the rules with tact and guidance. When they fail on me, I vacate the forum and go elsewhere, hoping for a better moderated forum.


Sometimes a forum does get better after I complain through the PMs, but that place with Private Pickle failed to keep in it, after all he had about 7 infractions in previous 6 months before they made him a Moderator, I would NEVER promote someone with that history, no wonder he acts like he doesn't give a shit.

I have seen forums that are junk because of no moderators, but having mods do their unpaid work requires tact and consistency in their decisions, but better if members just moderate themselves properly in their replies then the board mods could sip a mint julep in relaxation.

I am currently moderating two blogs, one is the worlds largest science blog and the other the largest science blog in Australia. Have dropped two forums last month, now wondering what will be my next place to help moderate.

I not too long ago came off a 30 ban at tPF. Given by Private Pickle

I had some words with PP last night along with the Booman. PP was being an arrogant $#@%.

BTW, he is referred to as PRICKLE here. :thumbsup2:

That is the actual name of a Moderator at that forum, who trolled a thread I started, that angered me and eventually left.
