Tucker calls for cameras in all classrooms: ‘not only are these people crazed ideologues, they’re stupid’

Much to the angst of the radical left, Fox News host Tucker Carlson remains laser-focused on keeping a spotlight on critical race theory, a toxic academic concept that uses skin color to effectively teach children to hate America.

A focus that comes as many Americans begin to realize that they have failed today’s children by allowing them to be exposed to and influenced by far-left propaganda in the classroom — to which Carlson had an answer.

Carlson opened Tuesday night’s edition of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” by pointing out how some Democratic lawmakers took to Twitter over the Fourth of July weekend to hate on America, noting that it’s easy to ignore people like this.

“Unfortunately, it’s much harder to shield your children from them,” he said “That’s the problem.”

Carlson pointed to the National Education Association, saying the largest teachers’ union in the country announced last week “its new, and first, priority is making racist anti-American indoctrination, race-based indoctrination, mandatory in every classroom in the country.”

“All K-12 schools, the union declared, must teach children that, ‘White supremacy, anti-Blackness, anti-indigeneity, racism, patriarchy, cis-hetero-patriarchy, capitalism, ableism, and anthropocentrism’ are embedded in every aspect of American ‘society,'” he continued “So if you’re a straight white American, even if you’re a very small child, you’re guilty. It’s your fault. You’re a bad person. That’s what teachers will be telling your children this fall.”

This is a reference to the NEA approving a plan at its annual meeting declaring that it’s “reasonable and appropriate” for curriculum to include critical race theory and will advocate for CRT.

(Interestingly, dozens of pages of resolutions and other proposals from the meeting, including those focused on critical race theory, “disappeared” from the NEA website on Tuesday, according to Fox News.)

Carlson highlighted how the regular suspects at CNN and MSNBC were aggressively running interference for the teaching of CRT and called attention to an elementary school administrator in Manchester, N.H., who resigned rather than “participate in something this poisonous.”

Daniel Concannon wrote: “I wish the Trotsky disciples at Manchester School District nothing but failure in their ongoing request for civilizational degradation. I leave you with the only verbal response befitting an attempt at anti-White indoctrination. F— you.”

Carlson shifted his focus to central Ohio mothers, Andrea Gross and Amy Gonzalez, who pushed back against a race-obsessed agenda at Columbus Academy, an expensive private school.

“In January, they decided we’re going to fight this. We love the school, and we’re going to do something about it,” he explained. “They founded a group called the ‘pro-Columbus Academy Coalition.’ It was pro-Columbus Academy. They wanted to make the school better. Their mission was to stop the bigotry and return the school to its academic mission: teaching kids to read, teaching them history, showing them to do math.”

“The people who run Columbus Academy didn’t want to hear it. They didn’t want to have the conversation. They didn’t want to listen. They wanted Gross and Gonzales to shut up and go away. But they wouldn’t,” Carlson continued. “So, last month, instead of punishing them, the school decided to punish their children. Columbus Academy kicked their three daughters out of school. They expelled them for what their mother did. So, challenge the regime and we’ll hurt your children. The Soviets did it. Columbus Academy did it too.”

With some teachers taking to social media to suggest that they’ll skirt any applicable laws to teach critical race theory — more and more states are banning the teaching of CRT — Carlson proposed putting cameras in the classroom.

“The overwhelming majority of Americans — and pollsters have found this pretty clearly — think this is insane,” Carlson said. “They think you should judge people by what they do, not on the basis of their skin color. They believe in Dr. Martin Luther King.”

He called critical race theory a “civilization-ending poison,” noting that there’s no way to know for sure how widespread the teaching of the divisive concept is.

“We can’t really be sure until we finally get cameras in the classroom, as we put them on the chests of police officers,” Carlson added. “Until we finally get a civilian review board in every town in America to oversee the people teaching your children, forming their minds. And let’s hope we get both of those very soon. But until we do, we can’t know exactly how widespread this is.”

He's right.

At first I thought - We just had cameras in classrooms for an entire year, and not much changed.  But then, the teachers hadn't progressed this far yet.

I would not allow a child of mine to be in a public school. I did not allow it when my kids were in school. It's worse now. Thankfully my grand children are in private schools, but that said...........private schools must be watched also. Not all of them are good.

Public schools are public property.  They should put cameras in every classroom and hall in every building.

I was pretty fortunate to live in a school district that was mostly conservative and they encouraged parental involvement and consent for anything that might be considered controversial.  (sex ed, etc.....)  They also provided an armed police presence at school for my kids' protection. My kids are all grown now and my granddaughter will be home schooled.

Ditto. I was in public school also. My parents went to EVERY teacher conference, went to EVERY program put on at the school, kept in touch with my teachers and knew what I was studying, when I was having trouble with fractions, etc. We didn't have police at the schools back then (and I'm not saying how long ago that was...).

Another reason I think is good for cameras, they can keep an eye on any teachers trying to get "too close" to some of their students. It astounds me how many teachers think they have the right to have sex with their students. And strangely enough, these days it's almost always the female teachers you have to watch...

We've got all this intrusive spy equipment, and we need -- or want -- to find applications for it.
