Fl has our own distinct subspecies "Agkistrodon conanti" They also turn much darker as they age. Yours should also be more patterned as juveniles. Many mistake the young for copperheads, close relative along with the "mexican moccasin" or Cantil, all are in the Agkistrodon family. See the similarity of the Cantil?

Rather unlikely he would leave prime habitat and go 10 miles. I trust a viper more than most people, you know what it is and what it will do if you fuck up. Snakes have never scared me.jirqoadai wrote:what are you gonna do when he-who-slithers comes back home and crawls into bed with you?

We get the odd sea snake on the shores of northern NZ, A couple of weeks back one turned up,
