I use to laugh at the idea of an electric chainsaw.
Pop bought a Ryobi, brushless, 14 inch, 40V lithium, electric saw with an extra battery.
Dat ting is baaaad!

Re: Tropical Tidbits
I have an electric chainsaw and that thing cuts as well as my Stihl and I use it before the gas one . I had my trees trimmed last month and had one that was leaning taken down so I should be good . I'm a little worried about a tidal surge that their calling to and my son has the 42footer over in a small federal marina on fire island that , unless a dune breeches ,should be safe . The other smaller boats I'll check on through the weekend to make sure they stay tied up safe . They keep hitting us with emergency notices and its starting to piss everyone off . We know what can happen but these freaking politicians are hoping for a disaster so they can put their name by it to say they saved us . I'm going fishing tomorrow at 6 am storm or no storm .
