USS Liberty Survivor Interviewed About Attack and Cover Up

Infowars’ American Journal host Harrison Smith conducted a powerful interview with survivor Phil Tourney about the deliberate and unprovoked attack on the USS Liberty on June 8, 1967 and subsequent coverup by President Lyndon Johnson. Tourney was onboard the intelligence ship, witnessed the attack by the Israeli military, watched the murder of 34 and maiming of 174 of his fellow Navy men, and was threatened to keep quiet or else he and his fellow shipmates would be imprisoned or even killed. His account 54 years later of the brutal assault and cover up is still shocking to hear. Tourney said the attack was a false flag, a plan by the US and Israel to sink the ship, kill all aboard, and blame it on Egypt as the pretext to take over the Middle East. Anyone trying to get the truth out about this shameful tragedy has typically been smeared as an anti-Semite. To this day the cover up continues with apologists like Charlie Kirk claiming it’s a conspiracy theory to have Tourney’s view. The interview was preceded by a report Alex Jones produced many years ago on the appalling episode. Tourney highly recommended the four-part series Sacrificing Liberty he and other survivors appear in that is posted on Tru News; he describes it as a Christian outlet.

We have to understand the duplicity involved in this incident to grasp the real nature of Isr'l's relationship with the US or anyone else. Their historical record, as has been represented on the internet is abysmal. It is filled with treachery.

It was an unfortunate accident. Israel apologized and paid fines. The ultimate fault belongs to whichever American ordered the Liberty into an active war zone. Primary responsibility belongs with the Captain of the Liberty who decided it was a good idea to enter a hot zone with combatants bombing one another.

Provided the captain knew. Our government may not have let him in on the fact they were being used as bait....

No one was used as bait. The captain was an idiot. This happened in the middle of a war, during a heated battle in the Mediterranian Sea. Israel was in a war with Egypt during the six day war. This research ship stupidly got mixed in with Egyptian warships and got bombed. The lesson is don't get mixed up in the middle of someone else's war.

Israel accepted full responsibility and paid restitution to the families of the dead, the survivors and to the US government for the loss of the ship. 32 million dollars was paid as compensation. 24.7 million paid to the families, 3.57 million paid to the wounded. In 1980 a final payment of 6 million was paid as final settlement plus interest. It takes some hard core Jew hate to think this was a deliberate act just cause Jews hate goyim.

There was never any such plan. The middle east was never taken over. Egypt was never blamed.

Agreed that "The middle east was never taken over.  Egypt was never blamed". But, how do you KNOW there was never a plan?

It certainly wasn't a plan that failed so utterly that nit a single part of it was ever implemented. Israel took responsibility immediately.

There is a large number of people in the US that just hates Jews and hates Israel. They have been dreaming up ways to make the Liberty a deliberate act since it happened.
