They have had it in the schools for a long long time. But you know...some kids are not so easily fooled. What is the difference i wonder. In the kids i mean...some are so easily manipulated and others...go through school and are not. Is it religious upbringing, the parents patriotic upbringing and training? something in the child's thinking?

@Calypso Jones, some kids are simply born smarter than others. Yes, good training in upbringing does help - but only if the parents and teachers have got the truth square in their own heads.

I had to unlearn a great deal that I was taught about history. But that, too, takes a willing mind - and from one who's learned how to discern fact from fiction. LOGIC. Something that practically an art form these days.

I think its a lot to do with parenting and intellect, My kids were not influence much by the progressives within the education system here in NZ, I kept them well grounded at home. they would get a reality check if they started expounding any leftist rhetoric at home,
