Death and District Attorney Discretion
Not discounting the emotional loss of both families, but i put forth a question.
Over the last 2 weeks, 2 babies have been forgotten and left in hot cars to perish.
One, in Baton Rouge where both parents went to work and forgot to drop the baby off, leaving the baby in the car for 8 1/2 hours to die. Found the child when they got off of work.
Two, a woman in Jennings got suddenly called to work one morning. Left her baby girl in the car 1.5 hours where it was found by passers-by and taken to the emergency room in critical condition. The baby lived a few days but eventually died.
Yesterday, Jennings officials charged the lady with murder.
Today, Baton Rouge officials ruled the baby's death accidental.

I was just wondering what folks think about huge difference in law enforcement.

One state you can murder a baby and call it "pro choice" another state you can't. There are different "Justus" systems depending on where one lives, how much money one has, what color the skin is, how famous or not one is or what connections one has. If for example you last name is "Biden" then you can have classified documents everywhere, accept bribes or have Cocaine in the White House and nothing will happen. If however, your last name is Trump then the "Justus" system will come after you for nothing.

I realize and appreciate that.
But this has nothing to do with the OP or links. You didn't bother to load either link.
Both happened a few days apart. And both happened in Louisiana. A red state.
