North Carolina has also declared a state of emergency. The news is showing long lines at the pumps.

Down in SC my wife's friend told her yesterday that she went to 3 stations before finding gas. I haven't gotten out enough to confirm that is exaggeration or not.

Wife just got home. Intersections are backed because of the long lines at the pumps. The stations that are open have police cars there in the lots monitoring them and the traffic.

Yes, I do.  But at the same time,  @Red Lily posted a May 9th article from Reuters, which states this:
