Print money without any backing or increase in wealth - that is, inflating the currency - and prices eventually rise.

That is not inflation; it's the result of inflation.

Same wealth in a nation; same amount of "stuff" to purchase...but the money supply is doubled through money-printing...prices rise.

This is established economic and historical reality.
