you missed. this greek dude was trying to say, " dont look a gift horse in the eye. " so all the greeks ignored him and perpetualy fought petty wars with each other until Rome was unified and the greeks wernt. smash, boom crash, too late to unify. Rome just crushed you like peanut brittle under under a horse boot.
