The Netherlands, Geert Wilders, win!
Populist bogeymen and women are jubilant about Geert Wilders’ stunning election victory in the Netherlands, a reaction that has sent chills through the political mainstream throughout Europe.
“The winds of change are here,” said Viktor Orban, the nationalist Hungarian prime minister, who over the past 13 years has clashed repeatedly with the European Union over democratic rights.
In France, Marine Le Pen, the leader of the right-wing National Rally and Wilders’ closest ally during his long wilderness years, was lavish with her best wishes.
“I am optimistic: it is possible to change the EU into a Union of European Nations,” she said. “We have the chance to change the majority in the European Parliament.”
Far-right Flemish independence leader Tom Van Grieken, who hopes for a similar election breakthrough in Belgium, was quick to conclude: “Parties like ours are on their way in the whole of Europe.”
His Party for Freedom (PVV) won 23.6 per cent of the ballot and doubled its seat tally to 37 in a late surge that seemed to stun him as much as the country. But while the first-place performance puts him in a strong position in coalition talks, the route to forming government, let alone becoming prime minister, looks complicated.

Islam is dividing the world and Europe is turning against it.

I think the problem is more with multiculturalism. Throw a bunch of groups together with varying (and often conflicting) cultures and belief systems, and you're going to get a powder keg.
As for Wilders, I wish him luck, but honestly, I don't put too much stock in any politician these days. Even the ostensibly "populist" ones are bought and controlled to a certain extent.

I agree! No politician can nor should be trusted and those who aren't are harassed, berated, lied about and ostracized for not being part of the "good old boys club". The DNC media will go after them if they aren't part of the club and the "fact checkers", (aka Democrats) will claim that everything they say is a "lie". If that isn't enough, "evidence" will be created and liberal prosecutors will harass them and go after them using legal loopholes to financially and publicly break them to prevent them from running for office.
In the mean time, liberals and "lawyers" get RICH!

He hung in there...and it paid off.
Meanwhile...i've been seeing articles on how Meloni of Italy has moved center left. I don't see it alot but i think this might be a tactic to discourage the right...the thing the left used to be so good at and is still mildly effective till all of us catch on to what they do.

Under Meloni, Italy remains swamped with immigrants. They took over the island of Lampedusa recently, and it caused the native population to be greatly outnumbered. I'm not a fan of her at all.
