Gumbo Night

It was rough day. I went to town today just to get a seniors hunting license.  I couldnt get one
Instead of licenses expiring on june 30 and starting on julyn1st , tjwy have dhanged it.

No matter when you buy one its good for one year now .so i bought mine on Nov 17th last year, which is today. So i habe to go hack to town tomorrow.  Technically,  i will he hunting without a license  in the morning.

Looks like no one at LDWF put any thought into the renewel process.

I managed to pick 50 pounds of pecans from noon to 330 befor my push mower died.

I inherited an outside cat.

Cooking a chicken drumstick, chicken gizzard, smoked sausage gumbo.

I kave to gizzards cooking down. When 5hey are tender, I'll add the chicken and sausage. I was going to use a handful of okra but i vant find it in the freezer. Prolly used it all.

I checked the gizzards. These look they are not too tough and will cook in about 75 minutes.

Now. Have to ------"cook sum rice".

I think i had a stroke when i was typing that.

Im just dead tired and achy. I cant even finish a beer. Been sipping on it for an hour.
