There is nothing new under the sun.

When I was younger, it was called a "Key Club." The way it went down was...a cocktail party. Every man threw his key ring into a hat.

Then everyone took a blind fish for a set of keys.

You got the keys...you got the car.

With the car, you got the house.

With the house, you got wifey.

When I was a kid, our neighbor - who was also the builder who laid out our four-block subdivision, with only four basic blueprints (this was when small businessmen could do such a thing) - was in such a sort of deal. In the end, he and his swapper, made things semi-permanent. Two homes had new men-of-the-house. That was about the time my old man suggested that I'd be better off finding other friends, than the boy who lived there.

Shortly they moved away, and then off the face of the Earth. I kid you not...nobody knows where any of them wound up. Not any search tools or Find-A-Grave.

But, anyway...later on, in my little New York resort town...there was a trio. The high-school music teacher; the successful insurance man, and the president of the local bank. They vacationed together in Myrtle Beach, every spring.

And, their kids all showed AMAZING cross-pollination. Unrelated kids of similar age, looked like brother/sister. Whereas actual siblings looked far less alike than they should.

Right down to lifespan. The music teacher turned out to be not long-lived, dying suddenly in his early 50s. The banker's eldest, a girl, who didn't look at ALL like her two younger brothers, but did look like the insurance man's daughter...SHE died in HER fifties. While the two younger boys, now in their sixties, are healthy and wealthy. Just like Dad, who's still alive.

So. I dunno...if they want to get their thrills that way, in this era it seems pretty mild. Better that than open pedophilia or bestiality.

It's going on all over the park anyway. No use to hide it and somebody get shot up.
