Did you know that the foundation of London was being laid the same year Christ was crucified, dead, buried, arose. @ 30AD.

I have to wonder how they can tell that.

It makes a nice story, but based on archeological digs and finds, they are gonna have at best, an approximate date.

Yeah, I did.

But your example, of London (originally Londonin) being founded ON THE SAME YEAR as Jesus' crucifixion, that's a little bit beyond belief.

That those two were the same age, doesn't surprise me. Only in my memory - of course the queen to me was an old dowager; and Marilyn was...kinda...sexy (not my type) in memory...so it's interesting, in a pedestrian sort of way, to juxtapose those two; but nothing amazing about it.

Except that I was taught that Christ was crucified, died, and arose when He was 33 years of age.

But, believe it or not, I actually did know that.  Came from reading a fantastic book called, London, by Edward Rutherford.

Fun site. A few I'd beg to differ or take umbrage with, but why spoil the fun, eh?
